Hi Folks, been around the block with my weight for most of my life-I'm now 54 years old. Thought I got a handle on it about 12 years ago when I lost 75lbs. I kept just about all of it off until 2 years ago. There have been many changes in my life and unfortunately, I lost my focus regarding my weight. I am up about 30lbs and so very frustrated. I have come back to Myfitnesspal in an attempt to get a handle on my eating habits and regain control. I am putting this out there because ironically, I am usually the one being the cheerleader but really need a kick in the pants from people who know how challenging weight loss and maintenance of weight loss is. Thanks!

Been there done that. was down over 100 lbs and have struggling last few years with 25 pounds that I keep refinding.
Have been on MFP about 14 weeks and am loosing around a 1/2 lb per week. I guess slow and steady is the way to go. Feel free to add me, my diary is open. Good Luck0
