Hi people, i am a male that is currently trying to lose weight. I need to know something, ive been doing some reps of pushups and squats and also been dieting, even though i lost weight my stomach and upper body look as if they got bigger ( as in fatter). So if anyone can tell me whats happening please tell me.

That's completely normal! When you start excersizing, your muscles start growing! Sometimes they 'engorge' when you first start.. a lot of it can be water, and a lot of it can be the muscles just getting bigger. After awhile it will all even out. Keep it up!0
