C25K App users

I would like to start trying out the C25K approach. Right now I do 60 minutes on the treadmill. I would say 45-48 minutes are walking at 4.0mph, and then 12-15 minutes are running at 4.8mph. I would like to start the C25K because I would like to (eventually) run a 5k without walking. The problem is that if I'm inside on a treadmill I HAVE to listen to music. I don't have an iphone. I have a Samsung Galaxy III. So, how do I go about listening to music and running the app? Since I haven't used the app I don't know if it says "Run" or whatever. I know I've read that it beeps and tells you when to walk/run. If I'm not listening to it, is there a visual instruction?

Hello! I use the c25k app and Pandora. There is an option on the c25k app to play music through it but I don't have music lists on my phone. I have just found out to start Pandora before I start the c25k app. They will both run at the same time. Also the music will quiet down and c25k will play over the music to let you know to run/walk/time left or whatever.0

I have the free c25k app from Zen Labs and it runs in the background, meaning I can listen to music, watch Netflicks, etc while it's going and it just interrupts to tell me to run or walk.0

I'm not smart enough to figure out how to put music on my Galaxy. If I had an iphone it would be great. Right now when I work out I listen to my ipod.
Pandora is a good route. I just wonder what type of music channel I should turn it to to keep me motivated. Hmm.0 -
Hi,
So I have the galaxy 4 and no music on my phone. What I've done is set the couch to 5 k app vibrate each time it switches---from walk to jog. Then I am free to listen to music on my music player.0 -

The Zen Labs app will play in the background of anything, including Pandora, IHeartRadio, etc.0 -
