The gym I go to offers a TRX and Bootcamp class. What's the difference between both and which one is better?

I'm considering signing up for one but am unsure which one.

Thanks!

Bootcamp is a bunch of exercises, sometimes bodyweight but the term has become more generalized now. TRX is a piece of equipment so that class would focus around the TRX.

    Stop asking about them
Sign up for both this week
    Try them out

At the gym I go to, TRX is body weight exercises using straps that come down from a frame. You can use them to stabilize when you're doing squats, or hold your feet in the air to plank, along with a myriad of other exercises. It is nice, because everything you do can be changed to make it more or less intense, depending on how you stand.

Bootcamp here is like circuit training... There are different stations, at one you jump rope, at another you plank, at another you flip a truck tire, etc. Everyone goes in a circle.

Better, depends on what your goals are, and what you enjoy. Try them both a few times, especially if there are different instructors! :) Good luck!
