For me is when your mind unlocks the hand cuffs of insecurity and fear.

  • Strength is the ability to push past your comfort zone to reach for excellence.

You never are free from your insecurities and fears. Your strength is what allows you to do what you need to in the face of them though.

It is acting for others in ways they cannot act for themselves.

It is forgiveness - accepting others will wrong you, knowing that everyone makes mistakes, and taking the high road.

It is being of strong character, in times where no one will every know.

Nice answers, but would definitely beg to differ on the bold highlight in some cases. Although I would hazard its not common, its possible under certain circumstances.

The willingness to persevere when giving up would be not only easy, but acceptable.

You only possess true strength when you realise...

" you are only ever limited by your own negativity"

Fine, saying yes when you mean no, also.
Saying no when you're dying to say yes.
    Saying yes and meaning it.
    Saying no and regretting.

I can grasp, because I live it as well. No negativity, no drama, with lots of laughter. Life is good.

Good to hear, but if you want to further capitalise on having understood that, teach yourself body language skills and the art of communication and listening which allows you to get what you want from life quite literally.

True strength is any moment in life where you were scared to death of what would happen, what might be said, or how someome may preceive you... but you did not back down from your convictions.

True strength = not resorting to inspirational quotes
