icecream

calories for icecream are given in mls i want to weigh it out on my scale, how can i work out the calories for the weight when the only info i have is for mls

its haagen daz baileys btw

    Had the same problem a couple of days ago.
    You either :
    - Use measuring cups to scoop out the ice cream in mls.
    - Weigh the whole container, empty it, then calculate how much all the ice cream in the given mls weigh.

    I've used the second method, and it's usually 100 ml = 65~70 gams.

    I made the mistake of buying soup that has calories in ML. What a major pain.

    That is a really strange way to measure ice cream. I mean, what are you going to do, wait for it to melt?

    why don't you just measure it in mls instead of g? It's not exactly going to be a make it or breake it to your diet so long as you don't eat the whole container.

    I usually tip out the whole container and weigh the block of ice cream, you then know how much 500ml weighs (or whatever tge weight is) and then you can weigh your portion of ice cream and work out the calories. Remember to write down the numbers somewhere though otherwise you have to keep on doing it!
