I am not new to this site but I have been gone for awhile and am ready to start back on my journey of *healthy* weight loss. My name is Megan. I'm 19 years old and my weight has yo-yoed up and down for as long as I can remember. I do not pass judgement and ask that you do the same. I am always looking to make new (female) friends. This time I'm losing weight the healthy way by:

-Drinking lots of water (and only water)
-Eating more fruits & veggies
-Counting my calories (1,050 net calories / day)
-Not eating after 7pm
-Going to yoga 4-5 times / week

Request me if you want a great motivator and someone to talk to! :drinker: :flowerforyou:

  • Such a sexist thread...shame..shame..SHAME!
  • I'd really like to be your friend, fit_curves,
but I'm going to tell you to use the MFP tools
to find out your Basal Metabolism Rate, and your Total Daily Energy Expenditure.
I eat at the BMR for my 'interim goal' weight.
May folks on here eat their daily TDEE , minus 25%,,
depending on how much they've exercised.

In other words, 1000 calories per day is not enough
for a woman who is growing into her adult body for another 6 years.

    Best wishes.
  • Hey! I'm in the same boat as you (19, yoyo-ing, etc.) but I DEFINITELY agree with jeanne855!
