Hello~)

My reason for being here is because I got sick awhile back, I lost a about 18 pounds in a very short time.
Recently I was unable to eat anything. I'm trying to see how my weight changes over time to the stress in my life. I am currently about 140 and three months ago I was 163. Every thing I eat goes right through me. I am mostly on a soup diet right now. Anything solid caused pain in my stomach. I had my gallbladder taken out just over a year ago. But this is new. And we'll kinda scary. Don't get me wrong I would love to be 120 again but I don't want it this way;) I would like to lose over time and not all at once. Anyways doctors don't have any answers. Expect that my body is not absorbing anything I eat and flushing it out ASAP.. Anyways this is why j am here. I was to track what I eat and when and show my doctor. Thanks all

  • Hello CourtSport198,... When I first met my wife, she was going through the same thing. Whatever she ate went straight through her and she was losing weight fast. The problem she had was that she was under a tremendous amount of stress and it had messed her system up. If you are under a tremendous amount of stress in your life this could be your problem too. Assuming it is, I would tell you to find a friend you can confide in and relax and talk to them about your stressful problem. First of all you must know and believe that the Lord loves you and you are important to him...after all he created you. Just try to relax knowing this and continue your soups and soft foods until your stomach will allow you to try more solid foods. You must build your strength up eating good nutritional foods. Little at a time and eventually you will work yourself out of this situation and join all of us in a more normal way of losing lol!!
Releaving the stress is the most important thing right now. Know, I am praying for you and you will be just fine. Let us know how things are going because we care about you my friend.

Hey...I am sorry to hear about your problem. Sounds horrible. The only piece of advice I can give to you is to do some research on your own. Years ago I was having stomach problems and my doc said it was probably due to just having a baby a couple months prior. I knew he was wrong, I did my research and found that the symptoms were closely related to Celiac. I tested negative but I still gave up gluten for two years and all the problems went away. So sometimes you just gotta find what's right for you. Have they tested you for Celiac or Chron's disease? Also....I had a friend who was having major major health issues and saw soooo many dr's and specialists who could not figure it out. She finally went to see a nutritionist and right away was told she had PCOS. So maybe you should see a nutritionist if you haven't already.
Hope this helped!! Hang in there...don't let the dr's do all the work....do some research and check things out for yourself. As much as I love Doctors, sometimes they miss a lot! It's your body, take whatever control you can over it :)
