How Does Plain Greek Yogurt Taste?

As you can see it is clearly very subjective. Some love it, some hate it. You will just have to try it and see for yourself.0

Yeah, by itself tastes like sour cream to me.
I add dried cranberries or dried cherries to it, a tablespoon or two or either, and that tastes really good.0 -
It tastes like *kitten*. I add a scoop of chocolate whey protein powder and cut some grapes up. It looks gross BUT the grapes really sweeten it up...it's the only thing that's worked for me.0

Bitter and awful. I tried adding sweeteners to it such as Stevia, and I think that made it worse.
If you had real sugar and fruit to it, it's about like getting the fruit version of it laden with sugar.0 -
I absolutely love Dannon Oikos plain Greek yogurt in both the non-fat and the full fat. Both are nirvana in my humble opinion. I add fruit to mine. If you wanted additional sweetness you could surely add your own sugar, honey, Truvia or whatever works for you. I agree with previous posters that what you might add would most definitely be less than what the manufactures add.
Try it ... You'll like it! :happy:0 -
Plain Greek yogurt is sweet, sour and tangy all at the same time. If you get a full fat version, it is also buttery.
If you get a fruit flavored or vanilla flavor, it will taste like fruit of vanilla.0 -
Haha wow thanks for all the answers guys!! I really appreciate it! It looks like everyone thinks something different but since I am adding sweeter stuff to it I am getting the idea that it should be fine!:) I'll let y'all know how it works out!! Thanks so much!:)0
