and remind me you can't out-exercise poor nutrition.
I stop tracking food and sneaky gain 10 pounds despite running 30 miles a week and lifting twice. And no, it is not new muscle. What made me step on the scale again was my jeans got tight around the waist.
I am a moron. Thank you.
Back on the food tracking wagon again.

Don't be so hard on yourself, it happens to us all. Be proud that you noticed and didn't ignore the fact those jeans were getting tight. You could have just went out and bought a new pair. Instead your back logging. Good on you!0

Absolutely! Well said. :drinker:
Read that post a few more times, OP, and congrats for getting back on track.0 -
Having recognized things were going the wrong direction and taking control immediately is a win! That is where I've failed in the past and it got away from me AGAIN...so this time I am super aware of any gain. You're going to be fine...just get back to it!0

Been there, done that. I've always hated that I wasn't an exception to this rule.0

It's cool, we've pretty much all been there.
Realizing it before the weight gain got completely out of hand is huge.0 -

But at least you're arresting things before they spiral out of control so that's good!0 -

Yes, this will do just fine.
Thanks all. Yeah, I know it's not horrible. The only irritating thing is I know better. I've told many people that you can't out exercise too many calories. And still did it. LOL!!0 -
Been there. It happens. You're taking the first step by getting back in the logging saddle! I have found that if I don't log, it's so easy to let one bad day turn into months of bad choices.
Welcome back to the "real world" of counting calories. You know what to do from here! :flowerforyou:0
