    I'm pretty sure it's actually Nirvana though...

    I mean, yeah the Beatles are and always were WAY overhyped, that's not up for debate, but if I'm high enough and my imagination is firing on all cylinders, at least I can kind of sort of understand why people like them and perceive them to be talented. Nirvana? I have yet to come across a mind-altering substance potent enough to make their sound palatable... If you find one, let me know.

    Music builds on itself. Without the historical greats, we wouldn't have the music evolution of today. The Beatles made amazing music that, along with contemporaries, influenced and shaped the musicians who came after.

    Definitely not as good as Nickleback.

    overrated.... maybe. Of the same era, I prefer the Stones.

    the most overrated band ever??? no way. they were very talented, unlike plenty of talentless overrated music like pretty much everything produced by Stock Aitken Waterman and all the boy band clones. I mean really, at least the Beatles had a lot of talent and originality. Give me Beatles over beiber style drivel any day..... (but Beatles v Stones, the Stones win. And Zeppelin beats them both (but they're technically from the wrong decade compared to the Beatles, although they can count as contemporary with the Stones as the Stones just kept on rolling and rolling).
