Vitamins

Hi!
I was wondering if there is a certain vitamin/multivitamin/something else that I should be taking? I don't seem to be getting enough nutrients from the food I eat, I try to eat more veggies and fruits than I usually do, but I have been so focused on just calories that I never seem to pay attention to them, and I'm afraid that I'm not giving my body what it needs.
(I'm 5'6", 19, 185 lbs, and I exercise moderately)
Is there a certain multivitamin that you take that you love?

I take a regular multi, and a high dose b complex. I've heard the b can help with metabolism, and i definitely feel more tired when i forget to take them. My dr told me my d level was low, so i take that also. For me, tired = hungry.0

vitamins are overrated. If you haven't had blood work done recently, then i'd go get that done and see if you're lacking in anything. I take vitamin d; blood work showed i was deficient.0

I would check with a doctor if you want to be absolutely sure what you need to take to fill in the gaps, or track the vitamins in your food diary and maybe even not in your food diary to see what you could be lacking.
As for me personally, I noticed I don't get enough iron each day through my food diary, so I've been taking an iron supplement and have noticed most of my headaches have gone away
Some people recommend B vitamins to boost your metabolism and help you lose weight, but I noticed no difference taking them and now have 1 less pill to worry about
If you're looking into a multivitamin, look for a mild one that doesn't give you like 300% of your daily servings of each. You can do your own research to get specifics, but I remember learning in school that certain vitamins are retained as fat when you get too much (the others are retained as water weight) (((0 -
Ok! I am taking biotin right now, and I was taking a women's one a day or something like that, but the pills were huge and tasted bad so I stopped! I believe it had like 300% for everything in it though, so I guess it's a good thing!0
