your help please! Last 20lbs

Hello everyone, if you have gotten to your goal this ones for you! I have 20 lbs left until I reach my goal weight. I will have lost 100 pounds by then, but now as my journey gets closer to the end of losing I'm having a very tough time. The weight loss before this stage was "easy" compared to losing now. When you at your last bit of weight what did you do to help get it gone? And tips or suggestions would be awesome! Thank you, have a great Christmas everyone!

Hot lemon water in the am, oatmeal with honey and cinnamon and cutting out carbs at dinner. 35 minutes a day on the elliptical going 3 minutesrregular speed 1 minute super fast speed.

I hit my initial goal weight a while ago and currently still want to lose a bit more. I just carried on doing exactly the same thing I'd been doing before. I just eat a deficit and don't do any exercise and seem to be losing weight just fine. Probably doesn't sound very helpful but I think a deficit should be all you need, it might come off a little slower but it will come off.

  • Congratulations on your weight loss so far.
Oh, to be in YOUR shoes, only 20 pounds from goal!

Have you read the Maintenance forum postings?
Many folks tell how they managed the final leg of the journey,
and learned how to eat as they approached goal and maintenance.

    Best wishes!
  • I was thinking of dropping carbs but I don't want to balloon when I add them back to my diet. I'll add some lemon water to my to do list. Thank you guys for some help

What is your deficit set at now? If you are set to 2lb/week, change it to 1lb/week. If you are at 1lb/week, try 0.5lb per week.
  • I have to loose 22 pounds...and ive lost all faith in all other diets and quick fixes and im hoping counting calories with MFP will help me shed a stubborn stone at least
