Lifestyle change

:smile: I am doing a lifestyle change in my eating pattern, I am a leader of a weight program. My saying today was if I keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a change. Who am I trying to kid? I am starting a walking pact to walk 1//2 mile a day for a week. That's my goal.

    Good job! Good luck with your walking goal! I am doing a similar walking goal walking an hour each day. :)

    Welcome to MFP! Glad you are joining our "little" community :).
    Just be honest with yourself and you will do just fine.
    Log in everything you eat, drink a lot of water,...and... move, move, move
    MFP is amazing tool, ...most amazing support community...add friends for support
    1/2 a day is a good start,..get pedometer if you already don't have one (you can find them very cheap $3)
    great motivational tool, you will want to do more.

  • I think thats the best way to go...I'm doing the same rather than jumping in head first and failing I'm trying to make little changes I know I can live with...Being aware of what I eat and making changes and adjustments as I go. I also don't look at my little evening walk as excersie I think of it more as a way to unwind and remain postive...sometimes the days can just drag you down,I'm finding my walk is a great way to unwind and refocus. I'm not a morning person but I would eventually like to add a morning walk as I think it would be a great way to start off a day.
