Exercising the legs

Recently I haven't been lifting leg weights. I figure I get enough leg work hiking, biking, treadmill, and elliptical. Further I can do all the weights on calf extension and leg press. It's like 390 lbs. on the calf and 400 plus my body weight on the leg press and I can do over 20 reps on each.
Should I continue using the machines or are my cardios doing the job?

If you're maxing out on the machines, try doing leg exercises that really stretch the leg muscles, like lunges, good mornings, etc.0

I would think the cardio is enough for now, however later on after losing more weight you might want to gain more muscle and go back and visit the leg weights, does that make since? I think reversing back to a great body is a slow process. Good luck! I just found this site in October also.0
