A special NSV for me on Christmas Day!

I have been at this for almost 2 years now and have experienced many NSV's along the way. The very best one occurred yesterday, on Christmas Day.
Christmas Eve Morning was very cold here (-15 temperature) and very windy. I decided to use a Leslie Sansone DVD as the brutal wind made a walk in our woods a not very attractive option. However by afternoon it got to +9 and the wind abated, so my daughter and I ended up walking in the woods for about 70 minutes. My daughter has run 2 marathons in the past year, so is in good physical condition, and often takes walks with me in the woods when she is home. Most of my exercise on the weekends comes from my walks in the woods. My fit bit registers my walks in the woods with the equivalent of 65 staircases, the hills are steep and many in the woods. I use the gym at work M-F.
Yesterday, my daughter, who runs every day, admitted that her calves were sore. My NSV is that, me, her old mom, who only began exercising in October 2012, and at that time 20 minute walks were all I could manage, had no soreness at all. I guess all the walking up and down hills is paying off for me and that makes me feel like I have accomplished something that I would never have believed possible!
