Welcome to my world...it seems I've been trying for a few years to lose 5 lbs, I go down one, up two, down two, up one, repeat :ohwell:0

Yes, it seems the same for everyone, the last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose. Just keep at your lifestyle change. Try changing things up a bit, whether its your calorie intake, or workout routine, just something to give the body a shock.
Congrats on your success so far.0 -
I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm preparing for it. The recommendation I got was to change up your diet; either total calorie count (up or down, it doesn't matter, just change it) or carb/fat/protein ratio. And just for a day or two.0

Yep, I'm only 7 pounds away from my goal and I've been stuck here for the past 3 weeks.0

I'm the same as Aunienue - been same weight for a year, dispite eating less and exercising everyday. Started trying the zig zag method yesterday, in a bid to move those last few pounds. Think it ends up an obsession with the scales, as no doubt if i manage to lose a few more pounds i will look no different !!0

I hit my goal weight last year before my wedding but it was sooooo hard! once my eating was completely clean I was able to get rid of the last 5. I have since put those back on and the scale isn't budging too much because I'm still eating stuff I shouldn't (chips, pasta, etc). Instead I have focused on different goals and if the scale goes down GREAT. As long as it doesn't go back up, I'm ok with that.0

Ugh... so frustrating isn't it?!? I am 2 pounds from my goal and have been 2 pounds for the past 3 weeks! I have considered changing my goal weight to a lower number to see if that will entice me into losing the last little bit.
Good luck and keep up the good work!0 -
I'm in the exact same situation as erinkate. It is really hard to shift the last 2 lbs. I have to eat extremely clean, and do lots of weight training in order to lose anymore! So you're not alone0

yes! i have been trying to lose this 1lb and it has taken me about 2 months. like today, i am so close but i just want to see 124! i am 125.1 and i know not to be obsessed but it would be nice to see that number actually stay for a bit. it will come but only likes to stay a day and then go on its merry way.0

nice to hear that alot of you guys are having the same problem....wish we all can see your goals really soon guess i'll just hang in there and try to change somethings.........thanks everyone0

I understand completly and refuss to get me down, just keep up all the hard work and it will happen, not as fast as we want but on our bodys time table.0

Count me in. I have lost and gained my last two punds for over 6 months....still working at it though.0

join the club...............im up one day and down the next its not shifting!0

I'm right there, too....I would love to drop 11 more pounds....BUT, I'm up one day and down the next. It's been a month and I've been within the same 2 pounds!!! Up and down. Up and down.0

It's harder! I still track my weight, but instead of focusing on that number I've shifted my focus to body fat %. That way if the scale goes up but the percentage goes down that is still a victory.0

one thin i have to ask: is your goal realistic? what does your doctor thing about your current weight?
are you happy with the way your body looks? are you happy with the way your clothing fits? if you like the way you look, then throw the scales out the window. the number is just a number.
i have not worn this size in almost 20 years. and i weighted about 20 pounds lighter. yes, i was working out and had muscle....but i was much lighter on the scales. why? i have no idea. i DO know this: i feel GREAT! i love my exercise routine, i am happy with the size i am in. yes, i would like to tone and firm a bit more, and in my mind, i would like the scales to move, but my health, energy and how i am able to do daily task are what i am focusing on.
my mom asked me 2 weeks ago how much i wanted to lose. i told her i didn't have to lose another pound. BUT that i would not change my eating or exercise. where my body lands, it lands. i am in this for a healthy lifestyle, not a number on the scale.
if you are within 5 pounds, then maybe a Shakeology cleanse would do the trick for you...then you would be to were you want to be. (message me for more info on the cleanse)
we all have to be comfortable with our bodies/goals....but for me, i want to focus on my health and let my body land where it lands.
