Recipe Ideas- HELP!

Hey! I am looking for some easy healthy dinner recipes. I need simple recipes that don't take a whole bunch of ingredients, and I'd like to keep them under 450 calories. Also, I'm sort of a picky eater and they would need to be something I can also feed my one year old. If you know of any good websites where I can find recipe ideas like this or if you have a recipe to share, any help is appreciated!

Check out Cooking Light's Recipe page. Haven't had a bad recipe from them yet, and they have categories you can click on, like easiest, less than 30, etc.

As an aside to the above poster's advice for Cooking Light's recipes, you can use myrecipes.com which searches within their sister websites for recipes and you can do it by ingredient too! Click on the link below and scroll down a bit until you see the cutting board on the right with fields that allow you to input things you have on hand.

Allrecipes also has an ingredient search function and even lets you specify what ingredients you don't want.

Best of luck!
P.S. As far as calories go, don't necessarily go by what recipes might say. You can tweak a per serving calorie amount pretty easily by lightening up ingredients (less pasta/rice, less/leaner meats, more veg) and also by changing the serving size. One person may only split a casserole up into 4 servings but you could make the calories lower by doing 6 servings and completing the meal with a salad or other low cal veggie side. Don't be afraid to do a little experimenting!0 -

When my children were one, they ate everything we did. I just separated their portion before adding any hotter spices or other ingredients that might upset their stomachs.0
