Returning to the fold

It's been a year fraught with change. I tracked for a month in 2013 but mostly just have been off the rails.
2013 included:
A job loss
2 major house moves
Lots of stress & drama. Too much so.
Returning to school after 32 years
Finishing my first ever full load semester
Getting straight A's
I want now to consistently, gently, log and track. Focus on balance and love and not get all crazed as I have been so prone to do.
I want to be my own best friend. I want to feel better.

Welcome back! Making friends on here will be a good way to help keep you on track and accountable to your weight loss goals. I log in everyday and try to complete my diary daily as well. I have sent you a friend request. Anyone feel free to add me!0

I don't know if you have a smart phone at all, but MFP's smart phone app is super easy to use. My tracking only takes a couple of minutes out of my day. Even when you have a lot of stress going on, it's important to take those few moments for yourself and do your MFP tracking. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to guess, or otherwise you'll give up and be disappointed in yourself. Don't use the major things as an excuse not to do the small things... I have had quite an eventful year myself and found I feel better knowing I'm still doing that one thing that's so important for me personally.0 -
Time and patience will get you where you want to be health/fitness wise. From what you have been through this year is seems that you are pretty persistent at persevering and getting done what needs to be done. Good luck to you and congrats on your 1st semester grades.0
