Swimmers, help please!

Evening all!

Hope you've all had a lovely christmas!

So, I'm looking for a watch which will track the distance that I am swimming (pool and open water). I have looked at pool mate but some of the reviews are less than favorable (dropping laps etc).

So... which do you lovely bunch recommend?!

hey. it's expensive, but i love my garmin 910xt, with the triathlon kit. it's great and counts laps for swimming, and then can clip on your bike, and then back on your wrist for running.

I did look at the Garmin Forerunner 310XT (the dreaded ex had one), and know that did him through numerous tri's and ironman's.

Hmm I'm going to have to grit my teeth and put my hand in my pocket aren't I?!
  • in my experience - any watch which can count laps will do...just make sure you press the button when turning :)

they have watches that automatically count a lap when you turn. no need to press a button.
