I'm guessing I'm the only person around who got Nutmeg Syrup for Christmas? I've been hoping for years and it came thru! wuhuu

Never heard of it, but it sounds yum!

No edible presents here, sadly, except the ones I will be buying for myself in the sales.

We've had a lot of food come in over the past few days, as gifts and leftovers from parties. My 5 yr old had a Kit Kat bar, that came in his stocking, at 6am this morning as 'breakfast' I can take or leave all of it, though I did eat the last cinnamon roll from Christmas morning breakfast last night-I made them from scratch and they were pure awesome

My sister went to Leeds a few weeks ago so brought me a Christmas Brit pack - chutney, jam, and plum pudding.

I gave everyone homemade marmalade. Amongst other things.

it's a throwback to my favorite vacation ever, so it's full of memories. Windjammer Barefoot Cruises used to have nutmeg syrup for their pancakes ( as well as maple)... been hoping for it for years and my sis-in-law finally tracked some down. I am a happy camper. I'll say again. THE BEST VACATION EVER
