I started off as very ambitiousd would still like to be ambitious for 1200cals but I'm never there...I usually think it's a goodday up to 1600 cals.
now..what do you think is better...never meeting your goal or giving youself the permission to eat more,
like maybe its a mind game im playing??
Any thoughts welcomed!!

Set your goal and try to stick with it. You will be more successful on a much more consistent basis, and you'll get a better number to tweak should you need to.

That said, 1200 is too low. Set your goals here to lose one pound a week. Then it will be more comfortable for you. 1600 is better for a daily goal for weight loss. Then add in and eat a couple hundred more on planned exercise days.
  • Let the app set it for you. That really helped me a lot
