Weighing in - how often?

How often do you hit the scale? Every day? Once a week?

In the past I have been tempted to hop on every day, but when my weight goes up .2 lbs one day and spontaneously back down .5 lbs, I'm left frustrated. But weighing in once a week seems so long.

What works for you and has kept you motivated?

I go everyday, actually in the morning and night, but only count the one in the morning. just have to keep in mind that weight fluctuates and losses are not linear, meaning they go up and down. It does help keep me motivated though to see the daily changes. I'd say go with whatever keeps you inspired.

I used to weigh myself once a month because you
Are guaranteed to see a loss and then I once a
Week after about 6 months ... But since I'm heading
To the last 30 lbs I weigh everyday first thing
In the morning after going to the bathroom
With no clothes on. I document it in a notebook
Because what I see is every time during the time
Of the month I see weight fluctuations .... But
It happens the same time same days .
I also know once you start drinking water
And then weigh in you will see weight gain
This is keeping me motivated .along with other
Things like the marble jar. Good luck don't
Stress you really only want to see no more than
6-8 lbs per month depending if you have over
    50 lbs to lose I I have a little over a
    100 to lose

I weigh once a week only because I have to for my coach. otherwise it would be less frequently. I don't put much value on the number...I prefer to use skin folds to monitor my progress.
