Hey guys

I gave birth in july and now I am almost at my pre-baby weight ...awesome right?
I was trying to lose weight before I found out that i was pregnant and I was eating smarter and healthier !
..I slowly started to eat healthier after the baby was born and on december 9th I decided to eat 1200 calories per day and exercise once or twice a week...and I lost 1 lb only !!
and I want to know if eating late at night is bad for weight loss? if yes at what time should I stop eating ?
I weigh myself every morning ....that discourages me a lot..should I stop and do it once a week ?
I just ate chips and 2 kisses chocolate because i was so sad I am afraid to pig out so I decided to write here !

pregnancy weight 193
I weigh 153 lbs.
my goal weight is 130
I want to reach this goal by summer

any advice can help...:)

are you weighing all your food and measuring only your liquids? Are you exercising and if so how do you determine your exercise calories and are you eating them back?

It's been long enough you should be seeing some results. I eat late at night & I weigh in once a week. My best advice is, eat as many calories as you can (to still lose). I would start higher than 1200, your body is still going through lots of changes.

I wasnt loosing weight either till I started eating more nutritionally dense. I started drinking spinach, kale smoothies 2 to three times a day and green tea at least three times day with stevia. All cravings for sugar and carbs are gone and I never feel hungry at night like I used to. I bought a semi recumbent bike and put it in my kitchen and ride it while reading or watching tv. I also eat little fruit, body doesn't need a whole lot of food. Eat for nutrition and not taste. And definitely eat all your calories with healthy foods like chicken, fish and broccoli. If your tempted by something bad for the your body then just tell yourself, "sure I can have that, I just CHOOSE not to". That gives you your power back verses saying "I can't have that". You'll do well. Mothers are strong.

It's definitely too soon to get discouraged, yes :) You might drop pounds at once, so don't worry about how much you are losing per week until you have more weeks to get a trend going. You don't have much to lose. It's different than when heavier folks drop a lot of lbs from the beginning. Also, take measurements. You might find that you lose inches before the scale shows much progress.
