Hello,
I totally BLEW my diet (or lifestyle change if you want to call it) during Christmas!! Well obviously it's not New Year yet and I'm planning to spend New Year eating 1200 calories..
How do I stay on track?? I need some motivation!! Every night I tell myself that enough is enough and I need to get back on track!! My BMI is 20 point something, but it's mainly fat. I miss the skinny feeling, the feeling when my upper thighs don't rub together, which is so frustrating especially in the hot Sydney weather
My stomach is bloated from 3 days of overeating for xmas. I was planning on going to the gym today, but my stomach looked so bloated in that tank top that I just stayed home for the whole day.
Should I go on a detox to get back on track?? Like 2 day detox or something. It might lose water weight, but I need motivation!!
Thanks!!

do what you were doing before Christmas and avoid all scales for two weeks. Take those pills and call me in the morning.0

Actually, I was wondering how tall you were. It's just that I see on your profile you are currently 117lbs trying to get to 102lbs? How did you get the 1200 cal goal?
Just to put this here in case there are also any lurkers wondering about the ideal rate of loss:
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal0 -
I am currently 164cm tall.. but since I'm pretty short and my friends who are my age are taller compared to me.. all I can do is experiment because I know that muscle is much denser than fat. Although I'm in the normal weight range, I have no abs or flat stomach, inner thigh muscle or underarm muscle because most of my weight is fat. That is why I wish to get to 102lbs and if I feel flatchested or something I will build some muscle and also tone up my body.
Thanks
PS I am still bloated.
Weight training day tomorrow.. excited and not excited.0 -

Except to build muscle you'd have to be eating at a surplus. In your case, I bet you could eat at maintenance and do a recomp rather than keep cutting.0
