Ok, so this is not my first rodeo trying to lose weight and eat better but since my husband and I stopped eating crazy, We both have had raging headaches. I have never experienced this before with my previous weight loss attempts. Any thoughts?

Did you cut out caffeine, like Cokes?
Are you sure you are eating enough food in general?
How long have you been doing this change?0 -
Caffeine withdrawal causes this. Some people react to sugar the same way, when they cut it out of their diet.
Make sure you are drinking enough too!
Hope it passes soon!0 -
I used to have terrible headaches. I stopped all caffeine due to a heart condition, the first week was hell but now I don't get headaches at all.0

Dito on the caffein, im the opposite though If I have too much caffein in a short space of time i get bangin headaches. So don't go cold turkey on something just ease it out if you want to stop eating it.0

Darcy,
My first thought was that you are not eating enough, but after looking back a few weeks I only see two days of logging where you seem to be eating plenty.
How long have you been working to eat better?
How long have you had the headaches?
For me, I got terrible headaches from too much caffeine from diet coke, and they were pretty bad the first few days i decided to cut them out.
I don't know, it could be any number of things, Have you discussed this with your doctor?
ETA: I just thought of something else. Have you looked at food intolerances? Soy also gave me headaches, as does lactose.0 -
Are you drinking enough water? Most people are slightly dehydrated, which causes headaches, too.0

All of the above sounds good
Also if you are on a high simple carb diet and then cut them out some people at least can get withdrawal symptoms which will include a headache ( I know I do and I know others similar to me)0 -
I cut soda's and fast food when I started MFP on the 24th of November and weened off of Coffee Energy drinks by the end of the week and replaced them with water and healthier eating, oh, the withdraw headache was fierce and omni-present and gradually, it subsided by the end of the second week.
Review what you cut out but like many other people have stated, it might be the caffeine withdrawal.0 -
Thanks to everyone that gave input..We decided that our eating was out of control and decided to change up. I mainly drink 1 cup up coffee a day, but some days i would go without. I think my body is just mad that I'm no longer feeding it the junk that it was craving..lol I'm trying to pick things to eat that I think are healthy.0
