Vegetarian cookbooks?

So I'm a vegetarian and haven't been eating healthy at all lately, actually in a really long time. I've been trying to lose weight for about 2 months and it always ends in me finishing the day overeating on sweets or using the "ill just start tomorrow" excuse. I've been thinking of what it could be and after another night of overeating I realized Its not that I'm not eating enough, but not eating really nutritional meals. It's more like I'm eating individual items instead of actual meals, if that makes sense to anyone. So I'm looking for some cookbooks that include healthy meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and maybe even some healthy sweets. If anyone knows where I can go or look online, or suggestions would be great! Thanks to anybody who can help.

The two most comprehensive veggie cookbooks are:
How to Cook Everything Vegetarian - Mark Bittman
Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone - Deborah Madison
An easy to way to find more cookbooks though are to go onto Amazon and just search "vegetarian cookbook." You'll find a TON of options, plus you can search more specific things too. If you really want more Italian vegetarian cooking, then search "italian vegetarian cookbook". It's as easy as that!0 -
Thanks for this post! I am the same way. I haven't been eating healthy lately - when I should be. I've been a vegetarian for 4 months now and I really need to start preparing healthy, homemade meals.0

I know you're asking for vegetarian and not vegan, but regardless I highly recommend any of Isa Chandra Moskowitz's books: Vegan with a Vengeance, Isa Does It, and Veganomicon are all fantastic and full of healthy and easy meal ideas. You can always use real dairy milk or cheese in the recipes if you like, but they're a good starting place.0

Vegan with a Vengeance has tons of great recipes in it.
I really like "Saving Dinner the Vegetarian Way," lots of recipes my meat eating family loved. An added bonus is it's done in weekly dinner menus with shopping lists.0 -
Ohsheglows.com is my favorite resource for vegan recipes.0

Appetite for Reduction is a great one by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. It uses mostly whole foods ingredients and most recipes are fast and easy so it's great if you don't have a lot of time to cook. Also, Carb Conscious by Robin Robertson is another great one that's lower in carbs and calories and against lot whole foods ingredients. The Forks Over Knives cookbook is really good too.
I just moved and I can't find my copies yet and it's driving me crazy cause I finally am settled in enough that I can meal plan and everything and I can't find my cookbooks.0
