Nontraditional Breakfast Ideas?

I'm a broke college kid with limited access to a kitchen. The meal I struggle with most is breakfast!
I dont do well with fruit or anything with a medium to high sugar content on an empty stomach and cereal makes me hungry! Any suggestions for low sugar low carb high protein breakfast?

Do you have a microwave? You could do oatmeal. What about protein shakes?0

Peanut butter and jelly (or banana) sandwich or roll up on high fiber lavash bread or 100 calorie sandwich thins. Cereal doesn't cut it for me unless I mix it with greek yogurt.0

Do you have a mini fridge and a hot plate? If so, your choices are unlimited. If not, I suggest bagels and English muffins. Plain or with peanut butter. Protein and low sugar is always a win! Neither gave to be refrigerated and are a little more interesting than plain bread.0

Eggs are always a good choice! You can hard-boil a bunch on your day off, pre-cook them as frittatas (with veggies) and freeze them, make breakfast burritos and freeze... Or if you have enough time in the morning you can always scramble them, over-easy, etc.
Protein shakes mixed with the milk of your choice are another good option, and they're grab and go! Greek yogurt, as a side or as a meal (mixed with fruit and granola) are also options.

My favorite breakfast lately is weird, but I love it.
I have half a can of pumpkin puree, a tablespoon of almond butter, and an egg, cinnamon, mix it together and microwave it for two minutes. Then a add a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder and a tad of water and mix it all together and eat it.0 -
A scoop of leftover chili with a fried egg (runny yolk) on top- delish!!!0

okay, give it a try because it tastes way better than it sounds. You can mess around with the proportions, but this how i like it.
1 cup canelinni beans (200 calories)
2 oz cooked sweet potato (50 calories)
1/8 to 1/4 cup water
add stevia/ healthy sweetener
add cinnamon
add salt
blend it all up to a smooth consistency and enjoy! it tastes like sweet potato pie!0 -

I'm busy in the mornings, so cooking isn't my favorite thing to do...for me, it's either eat a hot breakfast, or look like the Crypt Keeper.
-I like these shakes from Premier Protein. http://www.premierprotein.com/product/chocolate-shake/ I get them from Sam's Club, and they're about $20 for a case of 18. The chocolate is the best IMO. They're smooth, and they don't have that weird aftertaste/grainy flavor.
-If I have a minute or two, I like making oatmeal/cream of wheat/grits WITH milk. I put it in a to-go coffee cup (disposable) with a spoon.
-My last quick on the go meal is kinda lame---it's a bagel with cream cheese. It's not the healthiest, but it does wake my tummy up and get me going.
-When I have more than a few minutes, I agree with a lot of the other posts....I like pan fried eggs, bacon, Boca Burgers, etc.

When I want something different I make grilled cheese for breakfast. Using butter oil spray and low cal cheese.
I also like poaching eggs in tomato sauce with a little red chili flake.0 -
Eggs are my secret weapon. They keep me full for hours. You can always hardboil them ahead of time and grab one or two when you are on the go.0
