I've been reading a lot about how weight training can help you reaj your weight goals faster than cardio alone but how do I go about doing it? For example how many minutes of cardio should I do a week? Or a day?
I started strength training by doing arms one day. 4 different exersises. 3 sets 15-30 reps each and moving up weight when it feels too easy. The following day I'll do the same but with legs/lower body. And so on and so forth. Each day I will also do 30-45 minutes of cardio. Is that enough? Should I do my weight training and how? What kind?
How many times a week should I be working out?
I just need a general guide to the whole weight training and weight loss thing in general
Thanks!

The ratio to be concerned about is your calories eaten vs maintenence, not strength to cardio.
And find an established, full body, 3-4 times per week lifting routine. What you're using right now sounds........suboptimal0 -
I don't think you need to isolate arms or really do any isolation body movements when you are training for the purposes of weight loss.
Here a few articles that may shed some light on the subject.
