I want to lose weight without going obsessive

Hi I am 22.
I found out the other day that I am a disgusting 11 stone (which for me is disgusting as I was always slim until I was 21 and I am very short indeed). I need to lose weight but I had an eating disorder in the past so it scares me. On the other hand I have tried diets/ exercise regimes that have lasted all of 3 days and this time I really need not to forget!!!!

    Lose weight at a healthy rate by diet and exercise. You will feel much better about yourself when done this way. Don't hate yourself simply because the number on the scale. Please don't repeat an unhealthy diet because if you can't stop the cycle now it will only get harder as you get older.
    You can talk to a professional or meet with a nutritionist and trainer at your gym.
