Good Luck! I hated all my family pictures over the last 2+ years because of how big I looked. MFP has been a life changer for me. It has stopped the mindless eating at the office. If I don't know how to log it, then I don't eat it. Except on Thanksgiving and Christmas, I did give myself a pass on those days to eat what I wanted, and still found I was keeping portions in mind and what is a healthier choice to eat. I lost 25 pounds and really got frustrated around Thanksgiving and start of December that the weight was no longer coming off despite being under calories on MFP. My plateau solution was to stop logging my exercise calories. I still exercise 6 times per week, and the weight is coming off again.
My favorite thing about MFP is that it gives tools to eat in real life. Its not a diet it is a lifestyle change. You can eat out and it helps you choose the best menu options or how to adjust the meal.
Wish you all the best with your goals!

We have a very similar stats. I'm 5'6" and 230. Also, judging by your ticker very similar goals. Mine is 140. None of my current friends actually use MFP anymore so it would be great to have somebody who will be using it with such a a similar journey ahead.0

You can add me. I'm 5'5 and about 230. I had lost a good amount of weight using the site in the past and then I got distracted by a bunch of drama so I'm hoping to get committed and do the things I know worked for me in the past.0

Anyone can add me. I love supportive friends and will support in return. I hate the way I look in photos (family took some over the holidays....ugh). 2014 will be our year if we get our minds in the game. Good luck to everyone. :flowerforyou:0

Ultimate ultimate goal is 130
But.... I'd be ok with 140 or 150 to be perfectly honest. I look at photos of myself when I weighed 150 (and thought I was a cow at the time) and I realize I looked DARN GOOD!0
