or meal replacement?
Either will work, I'm just looking for a way to buff up my protein without killing the carb count (and adding in lots o' fake sugars)!
Any suggestions?
Many thanks!

I'd like to know about this too since we are considering adding some protein powder to smoothies.0

I use a brand called Full Circle, their chocolate whey powder is good! It uses stevia to sweeten, is made with hormone free whey, and fair trade cocoa. I'm not sure if it's available in every store, but if you find it, I really like it.0

I use Perfect Nutrition - Diesel 100% Whey Protein Isolate
Per scoop (30g) :
111 cals, 0.1g fat, 0.5g carbs, 0.5g sugar, 39mg sodium, 117mg potassium and 27g of protein
It's made with all natural ingredients and with sweetened with stevia
it's also lactose, gluten, fat, yeast, wheat and aspartame free
it's the best thing I've found...makes wicked smoothies0 -
Best protein drink my husband and I use - albeit is very hard to find - is Intek Evolution. Do a google search on it.
Reviews on it are second to none. Flavor is amazing and so is the ingredients.
It uses whey isolates, casein, etc etc...
But, since I can't find it where I live anymore I am trying Syntha-6 soon, as I have heard it is very good too.0 -
I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Natural. It's the same Gold Standard protein powder without the artificial sweeteners!0

Looks good, but pricey! I hate to spend that much on something I may not like0 -
I asked the same thing a couple of weeks ago. You can see the responses here:http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/551426-protein-powder-w-o-artificial-sweetener?error_user_id=19690965&error_username=Spanaval&hl=Protein+powder+artificial+sweetner.
I'm considering going with Jay Robb. This stuff is spendy, though.0 -
I just bought this kind:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/dym/elitenatural.html
Calories 125
Total Carbohydrate 4g
Dietary Fiber 0g
Sugars 0g
Protein 24g0 -
I use MRM. It's sweetened with Stevia and has no artificial sugars. Plus it tastes good! I like the Rich Vanilla or Creamy Chocolate. The Dutch Chocolate doesn't taste very chocolatey to me.0

Love it, thank you for the suggestion! :bigsmile:0

I use tri-celle casein. It's super slow-digesting, not really for workout but good for breakfast and before going to bed.
It's about 90$ for a month's worth. Expensive but I feel it's worth it.
Oh, yeah, I wished they had it without any additives or flavour. I'm not actually taking it for taste But I enjoy the fact that it's slowly absorbing during my sleep while my body is working. That way it doesn't need to break down any muscle protein, and can freely use up my fat reserves.0
