No. No. And absolutely not for a nursing Mother. Please do some research (google is your friend here) on the nutritional and calorie needs of nursing Moms. You and your baby come first.
Second, cleanses do not work. If you insist on wasting your time and money, in many cases, at least wait until you have finished nursing. While I appreciate your efforts to be healthy (which I am assuming is your goal here, can't tell), this is just plain stupid. Sorry to be blunt.

    That.....was.....BEAUTIFUL!
  • Absoultely being healthy is my main goal. I wasnt thinking of taking any kind of clense drug or anything I was thinking of having a day of just drinking clear liquids for the day something like that and just taking my prenatal vitamin like i usually do to jump start my diet. I think technicly it would be a faste not a cleanse.

you really should not fast while you are breast feeding.

If you want to go on a sustainable path to weight loss then consider doing the following...

    1. determine your maintenance level calories, which is the level where you do not gain or lose weight.
    2. deduct 500 calories a day from that number, and eat that amount of calories, which should result in a one pound per week loss.
    3. start eating some healthier foods, cook your own meal, etc, but still eat certain things that you like = ice cream, pizza, etc, just make sure that when you do eat those foods that you are still in a calorie deficit for the day. The 80/20 rule is a pretty good rule of thumb = 80% healthy and 20% whatever you want
    4. start moving around more..walking, light jogging etc..
    5. once you have this down look into a weight lifting program at a local gym..I would recommend compound lifts...starting strength and new rules of lifting for woman are great books to get your started.
    6. repeat until you reach desired level of weight and fitness...

cleanses and detoxes are just way to make your wallet lighter and will not lead to long term sustainable loss..

This. But keep an eye on your milk production and make sure that the deficit isn't too much to keep the milk flow up. Some women can eat at a deficit and have no problems, others need to stay closer to maintenance. Also, keep up your fluid intake!
