I'm looking for results of 5' ladies that have lost weight. I want to know if this sounds like a slow or normal loss time... I am 5'1" I started 1 year ago at 120lbs I am now a proud, happy, and healthy 100 lbs. I record and weigh EVERYTHING, eat super healthy, do cardio everyday always different, and lift every second day. I just moved my intake to 1500 from 1200. Do u think with what I have posted that my loss has been slow or average? Just seems like with the 99% commitment; and I am being serious, pretty much hardly ever going over my count and a lot of exercise, eating VERY healthy, that it sure took me longer that expected. I do have a two pack and some nice toned muscles, but the little lower pooch is still there, it won't leave??? What time frame did you other ladies have for weight loss stats similar to mine. Please state age, height, start and final results. Thank you.

Congrats on the weight/fat loss.
I just want to point something out- fat/weight loss done quickly can often result in the unwanted stuff coming back real fast if it resulted from drastic diet changes and then returning to 'normal' eating habits.
The better way to make such a change is to do it slower, allowing your body to adapt to the changes more gradual rather than trigger starvation responses and screw up hormones.
So, losing 20lbs or so over a year, I assume from mostly fat, is probably going to be more beneficial to you in the long term.
Losing that lower part of the Ab fat is quite hard for most and comes down really to the final stages of diet change. If you're eating healthy already, and training well, just keep at it. Lift some heavy weight, perhaps increase your cardio intensity a bit. Maybe look at changing your food macros for a while, like increase protein/reduce carb intake a bit.0 -
Thank you! Yes I have been doing done fine tuning ok the macro dept :-) I'm quite happy with the results and my belly isn't big just that little lower pooch is kinda there. Just courios if my loss time frame was the norm or of it seemed to take me longer than I expected. I also know that I was not big to start with so 20 lbs for my build is a good loss. Just thought a year of intense commitment would have given me faster results. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, just fishing to see other gals loss times to see if I'm below or abouve par in the time frame. Have a great & healthy New Year!0

I'm 5'1 or 2", and lost 20 lbs. over the past year. Everybody's different, but I think you & I are on the slower end of the spectrum.
The shorter one is &/or the less one has to lose, the slower the weight loss. We had a double whammy.0 -
I'm 4' 11.5'' and I have the absolute hardest time losing weight. I think 20 lbs in a year is GREAT! I am 116, and I always try to remember, even at 120, you are technically within your ideal weight, so weight loss is much harder than for someone who has more weight to lose.
I am trying to lose the extra 16 lbs by May, so we will see!0 -
Thanks for the replies, makes me feel better about my weight loss time ☺️0
