dammit!

Have gone over the last two days in a row by around 400 calories. this moring fair enough is bad cos ive ordered a bagel at work with bacon and cheese in it! I suppose i could have not had it, but too late now!

it still says in 5 weeks though I will be down to 14 stone 2... currenty 14 stone 6. so at least its in the right direction. Also, i start my cardio gym work next week 3 times a week, so I suppose that will even out....

im 6'2 and 14 st 6... ive set myself 1700 calories a day at the moment.... is that realistic?

A bagal with bacon and cheese......aah yummy...... stop being such a woos of course you are gonna go over lol!!!

you have choices - fat laden lusciousness with zillions of calories or not! the choice is yours.

But hey it could be worse you could have done everything strictly by the book, be under on your cals and be told in 5 weeks you are gonna be 2lbs down WTF! I want a bagal with bacon and cheese and be 4lbs down in 5 weeks......goddamn!!!!
  • I've gone over a few days too. However, it is still less calories than what I was eating before I started MFP so I'm still losing weight but just not as fast as I would be if I stayed under my daily limit. The only thing you can do is just make a better decision next time. The worse thing you can do is give up because you made a mistake.

 It;s ok to go over once in a while.. just call them your cheat days or you cheat days and just be extra extra good with diet and exercise after that. for example, i LOOOOOVE Bagels with Sausage egg and cheese... sometime a little too much, hehe! but ill allow myself to have it if i know i will exercise that day. Sometimes it's good to eat those foods ONCE in a while to jump kick your metabolism and keep it on track. So it's ok if youve gone over a bit.. as long as you are aware of it and taking responisblity for your actions but compensation of maybe that extra 10 mins at the gym! Oh and PLEASE enjoy that bagel and bacon and egg for me... ::DROOOL::love::flowerforyou: :drinker:

Yes to this!!! Even when I go over, I am still eating less than I have before, so it is not all that bad!!!
  • keep going - don't let going over for a few days stop you - if you get right back on it won't make any difference I am sure!

You could always try burning some extra calories to make up for it?

Does anyone know if you can carry calories over if you gain lots in one day through excercise and want to use some the next day???
