I am getting married in July 2014 so I am wanting to slim down for this. I know I probably won't have reached my goal by then but I am fine with this :) just want to be a dress size or 2 smaller for the wedding and want this to be a life style change rathr than a crash diet to fit into a smaller dress.

I am 22 years old and living in the uk, feel free to add me and follow my journey look forward to following yours

    Hi!

I'm 26 in a few days and also from the UK. I'm in a similar situation and have been putting my wedding diet off for just under 18 months. I get married in August but my first dress fitting is in March and I have 30lbs to lose. I'm quite scared now as losing 30lbs by 2nd August is probably a little unrealistic!!! Although as you mentioned I am doing this for a lifestyle change also so don't want to crash diet and put it all back on at the end of the year!

I'll send you a friend request and hopefully we can stay motivated together! Good luck :)
  • Hey! :) I lost about 25lbs from September - mid November (yes, sadly I've gained since then :c ) and I got the ball rolling with (next to motivation) a dietbet. I know it's not for everyone, but I really didn't want to lose my $25 and that helped a lot! You can find out more if you google dietbet.

25lbs are roughly two dress sizes, at least that's how it for me. I wish you (both!) the best of luck!
