Hey there I just had my first child, 3 weeks ago, My doctor has cleared me to workout etc. Looking for support from the Mommies out there!
I am exhausted...So I wonder what everyone out there does to get going and keep motivated?? Her sleeping is getting better so I am getting a little more rest than the beginning,
Also...have any of you experienced a plateau due to a lack of sleep? I also forget to eat half the time lol

Hi! Congratulations on your new baby. I am a mom to 4 kiddos. You have to keep in mind that your body is still adjusting your hormones from being pregnant so that exhaustion will stay for another couple of weeks, its not just because of baby. You still have excess weight of the pregnancy that will aid in this exhaustion and most will be water weight.
Even though your doctor has cleared you to exercise, start light because your muscles especially your ab muscles are still trying to repair themselves from being relocated during pregnancy, so a walk on the treadmill or around the mall or even a light dvd workout should be your go to for now. There are also some mom and baby workouts that you can find on I think its fitblender.com which has tons of workout types, just remember to start light.
As your strength increases you will find you have more energy too. Ensure you are eating enough and never eat lower then your bmr.
Hope these all help, and if you want some extra support and encouragement, add me.
