Confused?

Hi everyone,
I'm kind of confused and I'm hoping someone can help me. I put my starting weight at 153lbs with a goal weight of 135lbs and losing 1lb a week. It gave me 1600 calories for the day. I was under by 275 calories and then it told me I would weigh 161.1lbs in 5 weeks? Why would I gain weight by hitting or coming a little under my goal?

    You probably made a mistake and put in wrong starting weight. Check that out first.

    Are you weighing and measuring out everything you put in your mouth?


    How did you come up w/ 1600 calories?

    Are you trying to eat back your exercised calories?
    If so I would say don't.

    This, double check your settings. It could possibly be a MFP glitch as well.

    BTW, I never pay attention to the "you'll weigh this much" thing. Heck, I don't even close my diary out anymore because I don't want to see it.

    Yup, agree with the others. Try settings > Update diet/fitness profile and double-check what it thinks your current weight is.
