New, unsteady, determined

Hi I'm Wendy. I was born and raised in California. I live in Tennessee now and have since about 1989. It's definitely home to me.

I have been fighting with my weight since I was a child. I really wasn't that big as a child and I sometimes wonder if such a big deal had not been made would I have gotten so big? I'm worried I won't succeed but I'm also ready to make some changes in my life. I'm looking into bariatric surgery and this is a step in that process.

I am also bipolar.
