One year: 57 pounds

A little over a year ago, my oldest brother almost died. I promised my family I would start the journey to become half the woman I was. I started January 1st at 306 pounds.
I still have a long way to go, but
This year:
I have lost 57.1 pounds!
I have lost 8 inches from my chest, my waist, and my hips.
I have gone from size 4X pants (28s were too small) to pants ranging from 20-24.
I have gone from 3XL t-shirts to regular XL shirts.
I ran my first 5K in 50 minutes.
The first set (front view) I'm wearing the same outfit. I do this every month.
The second set (side view) I am wearing current clothing in the now picture.

I wish there was a smiley for a whole stadium of cheering people, but all I can do is a smiley with a flower :flowerforyou:
First, you look amazing, but what I love, love, LOVE is the smile on your face in the second one! I have a half-me to lose as well (a quarter me to become classed as an 'overweight' person), so it's FANTASTIC to see someone achieving their goals like this!
Keep up the inspirational work, hon!!!0 -

Congratulations lady!! You look awesome and I would love to see your photo a year from NOW, too!!!
I had almost the same start weight (307) in 2008. My weight loss was pretty slow until the past year and I lost pretty much the same as you in 2013 so I know how exciting that is!!
Yay you!!!!!0 -
Looking great!!0
