Which model FitBit do you have? I have been researching the FitBit Force and Flex and I am wondering which one to get and how well they perform.

I just got the Force for Xmas and I really like it. I like the display and that I can just wear it all the time (don't have to take it off except if I need to charge it, and so far I've only had to charge it once - it goes for 10 days or so and it came half-empty on battery).

I have the fitbit flex. I think the only difference is that you can see your actual steps on the force. That would be nice, but I don't feel like I need that because I have my phone on me always so I can just look at my app.

I had the jawbone up before but feel like the fitbit is more accurate. It really does motivate me to move more.

I have a Force as well and I really like it also. Like summer said, the battery lasts a very long time, but you do have to take it off for showers and swimming. It also seems to be very accurate step wise. I say that because I watch it when I am on the elliptical and treadmill.

I have the Flex - I love it. I have been considering the Force because recently my office moved into a building with STAIRS.... the biggest downside for me about the Force is having to remove it to shower.

Broke down today and bought the FLEX at the military BX. No tax, plus there was a $20 off for any purchases over $100, so I found a pack of gum to put me over that threshold and "Voila!"

I am looking at the dashboard and wondering how the FitBit knows what I eat for each meal. Does it link with MFP? I have both accounts linked but I see nothing in my FitBit Food diary yet.

((EDIT)) It shows the right amount of calories, simply not filling in what the food was. I guess that doesn't matter as long as the calories are in there. ((END EDIT))

Hi,
The force is the way to go, I had the flex and returned it. I use the force (young Skywalker

). Use MFP as your food log and link it with fitbit. Additionally the aria scale is great as it sends weight/bodyfat directly to your fitbit account and when linked with MFP they exchange the data.

I do like the force's display, and looking at how many flights of stairs I've done, it makes me want to do more to reach a goal.

If anyone knows of a Blood pressure monitor that can link (using android) to either FitBit or MFP, please let me know.
