It's been a decent year. I'm hoping to hit my goal weight in the next few months. Then comes the fun of learning how to maintain!

Incredible transformation - friends must not recognize you!

I'm 5'1". I started at 180lbs, I'm now 144lbs! It took me about 6 months to lose most of it and now it's definitely slowed down but I'm still losing. My goal is 125... So close! :)

I hated my prom pictures so much... Especially being next to my boyfriend's skinny sister all night. But they're the best befores I have.

I started working on my weight loss in February 2013 after getting on scale at hospital while doing bloodwork - and thought for sure someone else just HAD to be on the scale behind me!!! I knew I was FAT but not THAT fat!!

    My SW was 348
    My CW is 278
My GW is 234 (anything more will be a plus)

    So for 2013 - 70 pounds down - looking forward to a great 2014!!

First off, I LOVE seeing everyone's year end results! We have a LOT to be proud of from 2013!! :drinker:

    I started MFP on Jan 17th 2013.
    5'5"
    SW: 196
    CW: 147
    GW: 135

I had already lost 20lbs (by exercising alone) before joining MFP, so my known heaviest was that much more. :ohwell:

Here's a face picture the day I started MFP (01-17-13) on the left and the right was taken December 27th 2013.
    Jan-Dec2013-1.jpg

The picture on the left I (REALLY) hate but was taken the September before joining MFP and the one right isn't great quality (SORRY!) but shows me with my family this Christmas 2013. I'm SO thankful for MFP!!!

Congratulations to all of you!! All together I have lost 65lb in two years. Somehow I have months losin the same pounds over and over again and then I have a months eating striktly clean and not more than 1100 kcal and I lose a bit again... how did most of you accomplish the weight loss? Just by counting calories using FP?

That's correct. When I went back home last year, I ran into some old friends at a concert, and they did not recognize me. When I told them it was me, they were utterly shocked. I'm down another 25 pounds since then. Ought to be interesting when I go back next month! I'm hoping to be at my goal by then. :)

By eating what MFP tells me to eat, and exercising lots (which means eating more than I think I need to). It really is a matter of eating less and moving more, ultimately. But getting that balance is difficult.

Good on you for keeping at it!!!! Be very proud of what you have accomplished...I don't know you but am proud of you too! It is soooo much harder getting it off than it was putting it on...dammit! I have lost 103 lbs and have about another 35-40 to go. Please add me as a friend if you are looking for support. :-)

the picture on the left was from 2 years ago, and the right was very recent.

i began MFP after already losing some of that initial weight, and i'm now aiming to tone up, cause my weight refuses to drop anymore! xD

I was using another app before moving over to here. I started my journey in Nov/Dec of 2012 at 246. I stopped trying in mid-May to mid-Sep. In May I was 224, in Sep I was 234. So total for 2013 is 36-46lbs. Ack seems so small now. I lost a lot since being on MFP and gathering more information. I am trying to go slow to help my body adjust better. Loose skin terrifies me! I hope the numbers this year will be better.
