although it is still the first day, it is several hours later, and i feel like i have not eatened in a week. i know that it takes time, but it is hard. no matter what, though, i am determined to stick with it. it has to get easier. i delieve that the first few days is the hardest.

  • It does get easier. I do still have bad days though. Where I break down and eat more than I should. I get to about 9pm and start thinking of things I can do around the house to try and balance out the bad. This site keeps you aware of it though. We'll get there :)

    That's how I feel!! I started Monday...and then they brought some cookies in that look REALLY good...but I have not eaten any...Keep it up!!! We can do this!:smile:
  • I have lost 4 lbs. so far and it is becoming more worth it!!! Stick to your guns and achieve your goal. You can do it. Just remember the end result is a new you!!!

    Once you get the hang of it you will find it easier. Bulk your meals out with vegetables...there is no need to feel hungry. If youre not keen on veggies find a way to "liven" them up. cayenne, garlic and black pepper are wonderful for doing this and they satisfy your taste buds too.

    I'm 9 weeks in, down 24lbs and can honestly say I've not felt hungry, I still allow myself treats but I choose them wisely and have never gone over my calorie goal.

    It does get easier and you will get very talented at finding as much food as you can eat with very little calories. Protein and Fiber filled are KEY! Stick with it!

  • Lots of vegesand fruit!!!! Fill up on stuff that is good for you and low-cal and you'll be amazed at how you fill up. And DRINK LOTS OF WATER! It helps flush the sodium from your body and fills you up!

    I was STARVING the first whole week. By the second week some days I could have gone without food but made myself eat. When I started I was eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day (still staying just under my daily allowance on here) and now I really don't eat any snacks. I think your stomach starts shrinking from not eating huge portions.
