Does anyone have any suggestions for a dinner and snack that totals 410 calories?

My suggestion is to include exercise in your day.... then you won't have to worry about the exact calories and can eat more if you're hungry.

I don't know about exactly 410 calories, but here are some simple ideas:

    Protein:
Soup, Amy's Kitchen (organic) or Progresso (has high sodium)
Progresso Lentil soup: 320 calories for 1 large can (2 servings) or 160 for half
Amy's Thai coconut: (had this tonight): 280 calories for 1 regular size can
These two companies sell dozens of other soups with similar calories
Or you could make your own soup -- soup is filling and low calorie

    Vegetables to have with soup:
Sweet potato: 1 cup 114 calories

    Steamed greens:
1 cup steamed collards 30 calories
1 cup steamed kale 34 calories
1 cup steamed spinach 41 calories

    Snack:
1/2 ruby red grapefruit: 55 calories
1 apple: varies, anywhere from 55 calories for a small to 100 or so for a large

410 seems awfully precise! You'll have difficulty weighing and measuring to such accuracy.

But there's loads of meals around 400 - what do you fancy?

3 XL egg omelette with sweet potato and mushrooms, and a salad with leaves, capsicum, tomato, cucumber, celery.

Chicken, brown rice, sauteed veggies, and a yummy sauce.
Omelette filled with whatever you like and a piece of whole grain toast...or gluten free bread.
AppleGrove all natural beef hot dog, whole wheat bun, sweet potato chips, and a flavored coconut water if you're feeling frisky. ;)

No. I would do some exercise and eat more.
  • Thanks all! I ended up eating a lean cuisine meal and having a cup of unsweetened almond milk.
