Im cutting calories and want to find a low cal cereal which isnt loaded with carbs, sugar or salt but is high in fibre. Finding a cereal that matches my requirements seems impossible!!

Any suggestions. Im not a fan of porridge unfortunately

Is there a reason you need cereal at all?

I'd just go for raw rolled oats. soak overnight, zap in the microwave for 30 secs. throw on some splenda and blueberries and your'e good to go.

Yes, why do you need cereal? They are ALL going to be carb-heavy, with various added salt and sugar levels.

I'd go for an egg instead.

Have you tried bran flakes or all bran?
  • All Bran Buds are probably just about the highest in fiber. Pretty tasty (doesn't taste twiggy like some of the others) and not too bad on calories/carbs. Good with milk, sprinkled over yogurt or on salads.
