    Question back -- do they feel like they are doing anything? I don't know your fitness level but they are a great starter and if you feel them working more than likely they are. If you want to move up try doing modified push ups off the floor and slowly work your way to full push ups.

    Agreed! If you can feel that wall push ups are using your muscles and are helping you on your way to (modified) floor push ups, then go for it! Every little bit helps!

    If your a starter I suggest the girl pushups(where your knees are on the deck instead of toes) because if you do enough it's s workout and then when you build the muscle up you can start doing regular pushups and declines.
