Any non smartphone is thought of that way. You could have a perfectly functional phone that was top of the line in 2005, but it'd be viewed weird today.0 -

Smart phones are not so smart. I see my friends cursing them constantly. Why would I stress myself like that? :laugh:0 -

Thanks for all the replies. (: I think the iPhone is a little boring compared to the Android. However, I do like how iPhones tell you when someone reads your message haha. I guess the woman in me is showing. I drop my phone A LOT and it survives, but I'm not so sure an iPhone could survive the drops.
I know I'm pretty damn late to this post, but I hadn't joined yet. :P
iPhone's only tell you if your message has been read if the other user is an iPhone user as well. They also have to have consented to sending a read receipt.0 -
Crap. I just drank the Apple Koolaid. Again.0

Go with Apple if you like only having one way to do things, which keeps it simple
Go with Android if you like having many ways to do the same thing, which for some people, keeps it simple

You could never separate me from Android, my current phone is the Samsung Galaxy S4 and will probably get the S5 next although I also like the HTC M8.0

I like to customize the heck out of my phone so that it looks and acts exactly as I want it to, so I prefer Android. Also, I am in love with my Note 2 and can't see myself switching to anything else (other than a newer Note).0

Android. I have a HTC One M8 at the moment, had a Samsung Galaxy S4 before that, and an iPhone 4S before that.
I also have an iPhone 5 sitting on my desk as my work phone. It's a joke really, it's no different to the iphone 3 I had years ago. I mean, sure, the hardware is undoubtedly upgraded, and it does a few more things, but it looks and feels almost exactly the same. Even the same lacluster screen. How do Apple keep releasing the same product over and over again and getting people to rush out and buy it? It baffles me. iPhones are fine for the technically challenged, those who like to have their hand held, those who like limited options and being forced to do everything one way.
Android phones make up 70%+ of the market for a reason. Prettier, better hardware, more options re multimedia (music, movies etc). The screens are much nicer. You're not forced to add everything through iTunes. You won't spend hours sorting out your music how you want it, then lose the whole lot because you had the wrong box ticked when you connected your iPhone the next day. No thank you.0
