Hey! I started my weight loss journey August 1st of 2013 and and hit the gym pretty hard. I began using my fitness pal (for real) and logged and weighed everything that went in my mouth. I was amazed at how many calories some things were. hit the gym 6 days a week and bought a heart rate monitor for accurate calorie burns. I was 320 pounds wearkign size 46 pants and a 54 long in suits. I never wanted to admit that I was over weight and always though of my size as a blessing. WRONG!!! I was in denial!
This is a picture of me before my journey began. I was 320 in this picture!

In october I was 256

This is a picture from christmas and I am not at 233 pounds for a total of 86 pounds! I have 4 more pounds to go!

I see pictures of my old self and say wow! I cannot believe it! I feel so good and have so much energy!

Great job OP! you look awesome!0 -
It is pretty strange when people who havent seen me in a long time ask me how I lost all my weight. I get asked if I had surgery or if I was on some crazy diet pills. I homestly entered a competition at the gym called the Get Fit Challenege and there was a prize of $50,000 to the person who lost the most weight. I hit the gym 6 days a week, had a personal trainer and ate 1,800 calories a day.
I saw my grandparents and they thought I was m y younger cousin! I did nt take the best progress pictures but can tell yout hat I lost 86 pounds since August 1, 2013 to January 3, 20140 -

Thank you everyone! It does feel great to get the weight off and get healthier. It also feels great when my dad, my uncles, and others say that I motivated them to lose weight.0

Very inspirational. My highest weight was the same as your starting weight, so I am in the same book. I'm only 5'7" so I look even fatter. Great job!0

Plus, men lose weight easier than women. Something about muscles and testosterone.0 -

just wondering.
I did lose a lot of weight in a short period og time and it is pretty dramatic. I simply did the following:
- did not have a cheat day
- stopped drinking all sodas, pops whatever you call soft drinks
- switched from Miller Lite to Miller 64
- got a personal trainer 2 days a week
- went to the gym and did cardio and weigth training the other 4 days a week
- focused on eating cleaner foods, spring mix salads with balsamic, chicken, pork, salmon
- protien shakes
- made my snacks healthy; instead of chips I ate carrots, apples, snap peas - found special K cracker chips
- kept myself dedicated to losing weight
Taking this success and putting it to my professional life to have a successful 2014!0
