    September 2013 I hit a very fugly 285-

    My wife pulled a really solid 225 at 5'2" and 105lbs with a belt and chalked hands. Pretty proud of her.

    Since then she started a business and has fallen off at the gym so she hasn't been even attempting anything heavy

    A week ago I pulled 220 at 5'7" and 180. I'm going to lift a gigantic 340 lb. stone in Iceland in 2014.

    Hit 315 pounds, just chalk, at 5'8.5" and 165.
    Goal assuming no surgery on my shoulder, is to hit 405

    Was working on 225 when I had SI joint issues. (5'7", 142 lbs.)

    Would like to be able to deadlift again, period- ortho doc says it's not suggested. Would like to get it into the 300 range in '14.

    Honestly i don't know what my PB is because I haven't tried, I will tomorrow! but what i do is 8 reps of 100 lbs but it's easy I could probably do hmm 200 or a little more for 1 rep. I'm 5'8" and 160

    Summer 13 I was 5'4" and 135 lbs and able to do 145x5 and probably could have moved on but i flopped on the workout thing and now i struggled with 110.
    my best is much smaller than most of your bests but i am i still proud of it and can't wait to get back to it :)

    My PB is 135X5; 5'1 and 115lbs. My goal for 2014 is to hit 200lb!

    my best is much smaller than most of your bests but i am i still proud of it and can't wait to get back to it :)
    ok, so i meant summer 12 but I can't edit this post now, its been too long. Dang. I just did 2x5 84 tonight though, and it was not very challenging. I'm hoping within a few weeks I will be back to struggling for personal bests instead of working my way back through 'baby weights' to get to where i once was

    You will. I had a 200 lb. deadlift in summer of '12. Then my kitty died and I was too depressed to work out for months. I had to start back the new year with just aquacise, and as you know, a week ago I deadlifted 220. You will not only get it back, you will surpass it. It's not about where you start, it's that you never give up. Fall down 10 times. Stand up 11. :drinker:

    I'm pretty new at it. I don't have a personal best because I'm doing stronglifts 5x5 so I'm just adding progressively heavier weight each time. My last was 80kg which is about 176 lb.

    My last set this week was 265lbs...that has been my max for a few weeks, but my starting weights have been increasing. I was scared of deadlifts for ages and avoided them for months, so impressed with my efforts!

    PB in competition: 115kg (253lbs) @ 148lbs.

    Goal for this year, 140kg (308lbs) would be nice as that's 3 plates :D
