L Glutamine Question

I've been taking a scoop of L-Glutamine after workouts (5g). I just got started on some gluten free mutivitamins that are for active women and they recommend 3 a day which contains a total of 25mg of L-Glutamine daily. Should I stop taking the glutamine supplement with the vitamins or is fine to take both? I also read that it is not meant for long term so I'm wondering if this is true and if so how long should you take it before you take a break from it? I know nothing about this stuff!

If you train regularly then its worth supplementing with.
Because Glutamine levels deplete during workouts, people who train can be more susceptible to illnesses. Supplementing Glutamine therefore lowers this risk, which makes it useful to the trainer – less down time due to illness.0 -
I'd not bother with it.
